“pawpaw fruit is to skin care what muslin is to swaddling”
Raegan Moya-Jones, CEO and co-founder aden + anais®
about pawpaw fruit
Pawpaw fruit contains the papain enzyme which has been called a skin conditioning
agent. The beneficial properties of the pawpaw fruit were first discovered in Australia
by Dr. Thomas P. Lucas in the early 1900’s. Dr Lucas started a hospital where patients
were solely treated with Pawpaw remedies.1

about Ellen Gendler, M.D.
A New York, board certified dermatologist, specialising in cosmetic contact dermatology, Dr. Gendler
helped create our mum + bub™ formulation.
“What I like about mum + bub is that the products are the basic skin care essentials,
made with the pawpaw fruit extract throughout the range. The naturally-derived
ingredients not only allow the product to be gentle and soft enough to use on
baby, but also provide all the elements of a great skin care routine for a busy mum.”

for extremely sensitive skin:
We put only the safest and best products on our own babies (and ourselves), so we have
used gentle and naturally-derived ingredients in our mum + bub range. To make them
smell delicious, the products do contain a small amount of fragrance. Some fragrances have been known to cause allergic reactions in those with extremely sensitive skin. Please visit our frequently asked questions on our website or contact your skin specialist or child’s pediatrician for advice.
